bully dog is considered junk around here, expecially on these trucks, the later superdutys ehh a little better. But a custom chip for your truck will run circles around a BD chip.
we had a 60 or 80hp ottomind chip for my cusins truck back in the day, i think he sent it back with in a day of having it and ordered Dp the following week, he swears by it now.

Yeah, bullydog isn't very impressive in our trucks.

If you had a duramax or a cummings, you'd do alright, but who watns those?

I have a used 6 position Bully Dog for a 1997 if you're interested. I bought it new, and took it off when I put in a new PCM. Definately not as much power without it!

How about $250.00. I'll pay shipping. No books. It is about 2 years old, made for a automatic.

manual shift here.. later on down the road I'll think about a custom tune.. I don't want to make it go like a scalded cat but I don't mind bumping it out of grandpa mode or at least have the chance to..

we'll see that's the great thing about custom tunes you get to pick you tunes for what you want to do with you truck race tunes, tow tunes, econ tuned or a mix of them it's all what you want most over the counter chips are so called race tunes that don't do jack

Ship your pcm to jody at dp tuner and you can have one of the best tuners there is put a custom tune with however much horse you want to add for less than a hundred bucks. Just got the 80hp econo tune on mine and its awesome. Can't beat it for less than $100
