We have a strict and conservative dress code at work, so here goes (hey, somebody's got to list something other than Wrangler's and Carhart's!
): JC Penney Stafford Executive dress shirts, Silver Label- can't beat 'em for the price, most comfortable pinpoint cotton dress shirt you can buy.I really don't care about designer labels, but I do prefer Stanley Blacker and Cricketeer suits- they just seem to fit me better than the rest (again, the dress code- we have to wear dark blue suits). Shoes- Bostonian are probably the best you can buy today that are reasonably-priced (like I'm gonna pay $500 for Allen-Edmonds), but I sure do miss Nettleton's. They were the best.
Hats- Ford, or Castle (locally-made car care products- the best!)
Drinks- the Perfect Margarita at Applebee's. Never even liked tequila till I had one of those. Definite designated driver material! And what IS IT with light beer? What's the point? For me, it's Samuel Adams or Molson Export, maybe LaBatt's Blue. Coors Light? Isn't that redundant? And any red Australian or Italian wine. It used to be French, but who can afford it? (I can't believe I even admitted to that last one...) As for after-dinner drinks, now you're talking. Drambuie, B&B, Argueso, Grand Marnier Cent Sin' Quantenaire. Don't care what it costs: I've got to have a good after-dinner chaser, or dinner isn't complete.
Restaurants- Macaroni Grille, Olive Garden. Darn good meals for the money, and some waiter named Blaine gets to write his name in crayon on the paper tablecloth!
You can have Red Lobster, Bahama Breeze, etc... all overpriced.
