The Ford “Expansion” Concept

The Ford “Expansion” Concept

Expansion
List member Bob Taylor came up with this cool design. It appeared in the August 1997 Super Ford magazine (in black and white). Here’s his description:

I made up this truck on my computer because I like the looks of the large Ford trucks and we needed a truck to beat the Chevy Suburban. I used a picture of the front of an F-700 and added the back end using Microsoft Paint.

The new Triton V10 would be the power plant of choice (anything less would be too slow). Four bucket seats would be inside with a center console running from the front to the rear seats. I’d need tiedowns in the back area to hold down the computer equipment I move for work.

Speaking of work, I am a computer repairman for Superior Metal Products in Lima, Ohio. I also teach computer classes at Lima Technical College.
