f1 to f100 bed

Hello all, I recently acquired a trailer frame that had a 51 F1 bed mounted on it. My question is will a 56 f100 bed mount onto the frame without modifiactions?

Just to be clear ..... You bought a trailer made from the rear part of a 51 F1 frame with the 51 bed on it. And you want to put a 56 F100 bed on that 51 frame. Correct?

Anything is swapable with a cutting tool, grinder and a welder. Correct me if I'm wrong but this is a trailer to be used as a trailer. You can make it work.

Yes it will be used as a trailer. I have a 56 f100 parts truck and want to use the bed off of it, make a match with my truck.

The 51 and 56 beds are essentially the same. The fender holes and the lower skirts on either end of the fender on the lower sides are unique to their years, but the mounting is the same. Your bed should fit on the trailer frame fine.
