Supercharged 2018 F-150 Rocks 650 Horsepower on Dyno

Watch F-150 make big gains in power and performance.

In this video from Town and Country TVwe get to see a 2018 Ford F-150 get a serious boost. The boost comes in the form of a Roush/Ford Performance TVS R2650 Phase 1 Supercharger System. It’s a sweet system, and once installed we get the added satisfaction of the F-150 going on the dyno. This boost is coming with receipts.

The host of the video, Mitchell Watts gives a basic rundown on the already solid F-150 XLT. The truck’s owner, Dan, wanted to add a little more oomph to his truck. The Roush supercharger is sure to give Dan all the giddy-up he’ll need.

Next, the team in the garage at Town and Country gets to work. They unbox the system, and then install it in the pickup.

Now with all this extra horsepower and torque, Watts is ready to take this truck out and stretch its legs. He brings along his colleague Jay Mathis for the test drive. Mathis is the salesman who sold Dan his truck, and he has never been in a supercharged ride. And he isn’t exactly prepared for the impact when Watts lays the hammer down.

If a picture paints a thousand words, this might just tell us all we need to know about the supercharged F-150! This is definitely one of our favorite reactions caught on film.

“That was awesome!” Mathis laughs. “We going around again?” And they do, this time in Sport mode. Mathis is wowed and can’t stop laughing.

“Wow, that takes off!” Mathis says. They agree that the truck’s owner is going to be thrilled with this beast mode F-150.

Finally, it is time to hit the dyno. First off, it sounds amazing. Second, it performs beautifully. The proof is in the pudding.

This is a fun video with a very slick sleeper truck with a hot dose of increased power.
