Ford Bronco and F-150 Raptor can now get Godzilla or Megazilla swaps with as much as 1,000 hp, but they won’t come cheap.

We’ve seen our fair share of Coyote-swapped Ford Bronco and F-150 Raptor models over the years, and for good reason – a lot of folks prefer V8 power over the EcoBoost engines offered in both of those vehicles. However, the Godzilla line of V8s is quickly becoming more popular in that same sort of application, and in fact, we’ve already seen a couple of Broncos with that particular engine underhood in recent months. Now, those wanting to Godzilla swap their Ford Bronco or F-150 Raptor have the ability to do so.

Maxlider Brothers Customs – a familiar name in the custom Ford Bronco world – is teaming up with Juicy Motorsports to offer these new swaps, and customers have a few options to choose from. They can go for the old reliable 5.0-liter Coyote V8, of course, but also, the 7.3-liter Godzilla V8 and even the more potent 7.3-liter Megazilla V8, in various levels of output. These engine swaps are currently being offered in three different stages, based on one’s desired output and budget.

Stage 1 includes the regular old Godzilla cranking out a solid 500 horsepower, at a cost of $55,000 – not including the cost of the vehicle. Moving up to Stage 2 nets one the Megazilla in its base form, with 650 horsepower on tap, for $75,000. Then there’s the Stage 3 upgraded version of the Megazilla, which will churn out somewhere between 700-1,000 horsepower, albeit for the lofty price tag of $95,000.

Maxlider refers to these packages as “Juice Packs,” and they’re full-blown OEM-style conversions that are intended to operate like a factory offering would – albeit, with more power on tap. As far as which Blue Oval models it can swap the more potent powerplants in, that includes the 2021-2025 Ford Bronco, 2022-2025 Bronco Raptor, 2010-2016 Ford F-150 Raptor, 2017-2020 F-150 Raptor, and 2021-2025 F-150 Raptor.

To help spread the word about these swaps, Maxlider and Juicy Brothers will be driving a trio of Godzilla/Megazilla/Coyote-swapped Ford models to this year’s Barrett-Jackson Scottsdale auction, where they’ll be unveiling what they call “the biggest and baddest Megazilla swap of them all.”

Obviously, these swaps are not cheap – basically meeting or exceeding the cost of a brand new Bronco or F-150 Raptor – but it’s certainly nice to know that we can ditch our EcoBoosts for proper OEM-like V8 power, if we have deep enough pockets, at least.
