♣♣♣ The Official Super Duty Morning Coffee Break Thread (2026) ♣♣♣

I propose that the New Morning Coffee thread be renewed on a yearly basis.

There is so much information in the now defunct closed thread. If we were to keep it to a year similar to the chapter BS there wouldn’t be so much information to search through.

****The Official Super Duty Morning Coffee Break Thread****

Since I posted the very secretive "intergalactic code" revealing the Matrix creator! A new ****The Official Super Duty Morning Coffee Break Thread**** thread has been created in order to keep our conspiracy theories, well conspiracies!

Learn more details: https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/1...l#post21371514

Moderator Note:

Note that the addition of the word "Break" distinguishes this new thread from the previous original thread linked immediately above.

This change was in keeping with a request from Internet Brands to limit threads to 10,000 posts, so that the vb code runs easier.

I (purposely) did not explain this when closing the original thread... because Sous On The Spot and FTN For The Win never skip a beat.

And so life continues. Along the lines of @Wes444 ’s suggestion to send undesirables first to pave the way, the Hitchhikers’ Guide To The Galaxy had this to say:

These tales of impending doom allowed the Golgafrinchans to rid themselves of an entire useless third of their population. The story was that they would build three Ark ships. Into the A ship would go all the leaders, scientists and other high achievers. The C ship would contain all the people who made things and did things, and the B Ark would hold everyone else, such as hairdressers and telephone sanitisers. They sent the B ship off first, but of course, the other two-thirds of the population stayed on the planet and lived full, rich and happy lives until they were all wiped out by a virulent disease contracted from a dirty telephone.

We have a duplicate.

Here’s the one I started and propose to keep it to a year when the 2024 gets closed, and a new 2025 gets started.

@Sous ... it looks like @F350towing beat you to the coffee pot.

When I merged brews, since we only need one break room, F350Towing's posts emerged on top.

Note that the addition of the word "Break" distinguishes this new thread from the original thread.

Internet Brands requested that the original thread be closed for reasons related to forum software.

Sous just so happened to post a perfect setup befitting a humorous closure, I couldn't resist.

Carry on gents! Keep the pot hot and the breaks long.

We were obliterating that 10,000 posts limit with over 1,000,000 posts views and 19,657 posts... I find this funny for some odd reason.

My apologies for not seeing your "new" thread before creating another. In my humble opinion, I think the rotating thread on a yearly basis is a great idea. Perhaps start it on or near the first of the year and place the year somewhere in the thread title.

I would like to apologize to you as well for making more work for you in order to keep the newly created threads in line. I am glad our Canadian friend was able to beat me to the punch since I like to pick the seat in the corner where it is dimly lit, out of the way and a bit more quiet.

CARRY ON indeed!

Not at all our friend. We are all entitled to our own opinions and conspiracy theories. Lord knows I have my own.

Not true at all, in either quote.

The old coffee thread only had 19,646 posts, not "over 1,000,000 posts." The thread had 1,001,140-ish VIEWS, not posts.

Also, the old coffee thread wasn't broken in any way. The reason for closure was simple. I cited the coffee thread as a good example of how FTE members arrive at FTE for the truck talk, stay for dinner, crash on the couch after celebrating newly formed friendships, wake up the next morning and join each other for coffee... and repeat this everyday. For years.

While I don't know if the intent of my message, that my use of the 7.3L gang of brothers as an example of, had any influence or effect, I did get a response... more like a rumbling and sudden clap of thunder from IB corporate, and as the lightning flash illuminated the dark sky, I could make out the radius curve of the stone tablet that IB Moses held up high for me to read, where I saw number XI: "Thou shalt not allow threads to exceed 10,000 posts."

I thought about asking if we could make it 11,000 posts, since it was the 11th Commandment? You know, kind of a nice ring to it. Easier to remember the threshold number. But then I recalled how painful it was when I accidently bumped into an electric livestock fence while reaching in to pet a horse who trotted up to see me. After that shock, I'm not really up for facing lightning.

So I immediately complied.

To assure you that you didn't "break the other thread", there is an active thread on another FTE sub-forum that has over 103,469 posts, with over 5,253,140-ish views, that ain't broke yet.

Nevertheless, I do as I am told, and I appreciate your accommodation!

The challenge now is, let's see how quickly y'all can bring this new coffee thread to 9,999 posts!

Yet another mistake on the chalk board for today...

Just bringing the post count closer to 10k and joining as one of the “original” miscreants on this new thread.

Did I use that word right?

BTW, haven’t made it to the couch yet. Still chilling at the table after dinner and catching up on the new happenings.
