From Broncos to F-100s and even one Courier, Ford trucks were well represented at this mammoth fall event.

Multiple times a year, people flock from all over the country to the small town of Carlisle, Pennsylvania. And for good reason. Thanks to Carlisle Events, this sleepy town has become world renowned for hosting some of the most amazing car shows, auctions, and and swap meets you’ll ever see. So it’s no surprise that the most recent of which, Fall Carlisle, wrapped up with some pretty incredible results. And even better, it played host to a large number of drop-dead gorgeous Ford trucks from every era. Not to mention some pretty sweet Mustangs and vintage Blue Ovals.

Despite the soggy weather that’s plagued the east coast recently, it obviously didn’t dampen the mood of those in attendance. At least not when it came to bidding on the various fine machines crossing the block. In fact, Carlisle’s fall auction raked in an impressive $5 million dollars in sales. And the available lots spanned 100 years of automotive production, so there was literally something for everyone.

Many of those sales helped contribute to a variety of charities, including several that raised funds for the Carlisle Salvation Army branch. Heck, the auction even featured a custom wagon built specifically to raise money for a local animal rescue. And even those who missed out on buying one of these special vehicles made their mark with secondary donations.

Ford fans has their moment in the spotlight too, as a specialty hour featured nothing but Blue Ovals crossing the block. And once all of that was over, there was plenty more to take in. A whopping 8,100 vending spaces made up one of the largest swap meets in the world. That, plus a massive car show, filled up 150 acres of Carlisle’s Fairgrounds.

If all of that sounds like your idea of automotive (and Ford truck) nirvana, you’ll want to go ahead and mark your calendar for April 24-28. Because that’s when Spring Carlisle helps kick off another year of awesome events!
