FTE Forum Members Crack Back on 2020 Bronco Rendering
Latest render of what the upcoming 2020 Bronco could look like takes its cues from the Flex, global-market Everest.
The wait is nearly over for two of our favorite Fords, the Ranger and the Bronco. While we all know what the 2019 Ranger will look like by now, there have been plenty of guesses as to what the 2020 version of the Mustang of the dirt will appear. Most renders have pegged the Bronco taking its cues from the first-gen and much beloved compact SUV.
This is not one of those renders. This one, appearing our Ford Truck Enthusiasts Forum, takes a hard right into the path of the Flex, with a side of the global market Everest and some retromodern Eighties touches. To say this latest render has our members crying from laughter and/or pain is an understatement. But don’t take our word for it: here’s a few choice crack-backs from the thread.
Forum member khadma says, “NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO, Looks like the Flex. DID I SAY NOOOOOOOOOOO,” adding that since it’s not from Ford, this or any other rendition will not be accurate or acceptable.
CuNmUdF250 adds that “there is no way in the world that it will look like like that abomination,” and is certain that if a designer presented this render to the company, “they’d be last seen doing the walk of shame with a medium size cardboard box out the front door.”
The thread starter, ovenrat not only doesn’t like the “soccer Mom’s station wagon” appearance of this render, he declares that there had better be a sportier Raptor variant, or he’ll get a Wrangler Unlimited.
However the 2020 Bronco appears, we’ll be sure to have every angle available for viewing once it makes its rumored debut at the 2019 Detroit Auto Show. Until then, though, we’ll leave you with this plea from hd4ever, who’s been stuck with a Jeep for far too long:
“I pray to God this Bronco is not a disappointment. I am keeping my Jeep alive long enough to buy another Bronco. Just replaced the transmission lines. Rust holes in the floor ect. I am sick of piecing this Jeep together. If Ford flops I will be in another Jeep ASAP! Please ford hurry up don’t make me buy another Jeep!”
