TRUCKED UP Built Ford Tough or Not?
Ever wondered what it would take to really kill your F-150? Like, really kill it as they show off in the movies by shooting it in the engine bay?
So did FullMag on YouTube and what happens is rather impressive. When FoMoCo said the F-150 was “Built Ford Tough,” I’m pretty sure this wasn’t what they had in mind.
FullMag’s Richard Ryan does a lot of shooting on his channel and his 2004 F-150 has been in nearly all of them with over 50-million views alone.
Unfortunately the 5.4-liter V8 engine started to die off and the cost to fix it was more than he felt it was worth, Richard grabbed his Barrett M107A1 and loaded up a few rounds of .50-caliber BMG API.
These rounds are designed for armored and flammable targets, so they should have no problem going through the engine at all. How many bullets does it take?
Well, guess it takes more than a .50-caliber to kill a Ford engine. What will it take…
