yeah no denying it's a sharp visual but as a daily driver? I have some reservations.
Even San Diego area these days are not too flag waving outside the gates of North Island and Camp Pendleton. Oceanside is a real pit now with lots of high density housing heading to Escondido on the way to become District 9 style settlements where Avocado groves get plowed over and turned into a sea of apartments and condos for foreign money to invest and rent out to commuters to Orange County and LA.
I'd just be happy if Ford would offer ANY kind of tonneau cover for 8' bed--with an American Flag on it. Aftermarket currently only has them for 5.5-6' beds or some such.

Is it just me, or does it seem like a somewhat missed opportunity that Ford never took the old Lariat grille, and made the excessive horizontal bars--alternating bands of red/white (gradient transition around the corners)? Maybe even with the small inset "smiles" in blue.
