Ford vs. FCA, Part 1: Bronco v Wrangler Battle to the Death! (On Paper)
Bronco v Wrangler: Features
This is an easy one. Here are just some of the features exclusive to the Bronco: Cargo area storage for all doors (four-door models only), roof storage for some components (two-door models only), hard and soft top availability without removal of either (four-door models), body-mounted side mirrors, side-impact airbags, independent front suspension, over-the-air software updates, optional Sync 4 12-inch touchscreen, and mold-resistant seats. There’s really no contest here.
Winner: Bronco
Ford really sweated the details on the new Bronco. Clearly, the company engineered these features as a way to woo Wrangler owners while simultaneously hitting Jeep in the shins. We suspect a decent amount of Wrangler owners are thinking about trading in their rides for a Bronco. Beyond sex appeal, it has substance. And that independent front suspension will make the Bronco feel much more refined than the Jeep on the streets.
