Two-Tone 1979 Ford Bronco Is a Lifted Looker Worth Drooling Over
Perfect mix of modifications and stock greatness make this Bronco a great example of why we love them so much.
These days, the Ford Bronco couldn’t possibly get any hotter. It’s been roughly 25 years since Ford built and sold a new one, but as is often the case, absence has only made our hearts grow fonder for the rough and tumble off-road SUV. Thankfully, the Bronco is back now. But we still have a soft spot for the old ones, particularly the much-beloved second-gen. And this gorgeous 1979 Bronco we spotted over at Worldwide Vintage Autos is an exemplary reason why.
Everything you could possibly want from a classic Ford is present here. Two-tone paint, all the original trim and chrome, and it’s all in pretty nice condition. Then, you add in a tasteful selection of upgrades that include a lift kit, timeless and modest wheels, and some seriously beefy tires to enhance what is already a successful formula.
One of the great things about this particular Bronco is that it’s in great shape, but not too great. This is no priceless frame-off resto job, but rather a driver-condition rig. And that means you won’t be afraid to actually drive it. Crazy concept, indeed. And every time you open the door and peek inside, you’ll instantly be transported back to a different era, too.
