Hello all. I have a 1975 F250 and live in Torrance California. I am preparing to install a new rear slider and seal. Having only the use of one hand I was wondering if anyone had a recommendation for someone Or a company company that handles the rope in method? Or perhaps another member that may want to help out. Anyway, just thought I would reach out for any advice.

Hey there. Why don't you PM me. I too have a 75, and not too long ago I installed a new rear slider.
It's both easy and hard
Use the help
You can help push when the other guy pulls the rope
It just about takes 2 guys anyway, even if you are good at it
Used to install those sliders when those trucks were brand new
I can say, working the brand new rubber weatherstrip was a breeze, if you need to reuse your weather strip, use a bunch of silicone to condition the rubber

Ive been looking at the new seal and trying to figure out what is in and out and towards the window and body. This photo is one side. Is this toward the window frame or to the body of the truck? Then there split is not centered. Leaving a small side and a big side. Which faces inn the cab and which outside towards the bed. Thanks again.
