Bronco Off-Roadeo

Don’t miss out on your opportunity to spend a day and a half in the dirt with the all-new Bronco at the Bronco Off-Roadeo.

Host Mitchell Watts for the Town and Country TV Youtube Channel did us all a favor and gave us an inside look at what to expect at the Bronco Off-Roadeo Outdoor Adventure. Watts is in Texas for his adventure, but the experience offers several locations across the United States to play at.

Watts defined his goal as sharing “what it’s like to experience the Bronco Off-Roadeo,” and he certainly did not disappoint. So let’s dive right in.

The Off-Roadeo Program

First things first, you’ll go through an orientation and Bronco heritage class. The ORX (off-road experience) morning portion is, according to Watts, “where they teach you things to get you ready for what we’re about to do next.”

Afterward, you will jump into a Bronco Sport and begin testing out the trail system for yourself. Currently, the program is only open to dealers, but the customer program will be open soon and is expected to be longer and far more in-depth.

One of the many benefits of the new Bronco is its capability off-road. Much of the guesswork is taken out with the all-new tech. But, Off-Roadeo instructors will see to it that you learn the old-school techniques behind the new technology.

Playing With the Big Boys

Later in the course, you will graduate to the big-boy Broncos. Expect to see lots of mud, dirt, bumps, dips, and climbs throughout the day like Watts. Watts ended up with a four-door manual transmission bronco with a soft top for the afternoon.

The course is certainly challenging, but the Bronco is more than up to the task. “It’s a lot easier than it looks,” remarks Watts “But I think it’s the truck, not the terrain.”

While out on the course Watts traverses several obstacles including a steep vertical portion considered to be one of the most difficult parts of the trail. Later, the group parks the Bronco and demonstrates just how ridiculously easy it is to close the factory soft-top.

Why on earth would you close the soft top on such a beautiful day you might ask? For the high-speed off-road portion of course…

Next thing you know, Watt’s is carving through the hairpins in second gear like a pro. The Off-Roadeo experience is loads of fun, evidenced by the huge smile Watts couldn’t drop. “I feel like I should be getting arrested right now,” Watts shares jokingly.

Don’t Forget to Sign Up

Make sure you register for your day and a half at the Bronco Off-Roadeo Outdoor Adventure. The Bronco was built for days like these. You certainly won’t want to miss out.
