ABS light on

My brakes work perfect and I have an ABS light, I disconnected the battery hooked it back up the next day and still have a ABS light, how does one turn off the ABS light?

You need a Code Reader that will read the ABS codes. Not all Code Readers read ABS.

Might be the sensor on rear end, as its known to go bad.

I rode around with a ABS light on for over a year... never did feel like anything was wrong.

Replaced the ABS cable to hub... but that didn't work. Later on I finally replaced that hub and that was end of problem.

i just remove the bulb from the dash, the only vehicle i own that has working ABS for now is the 02 diesel.

and that is going to get the abs disabled very soon because the brakes suck on that truck.

I am not at my computer this weekend, so I won't go into great detail on this. The OBS trucks don't run ABS codes through the PCM so you can NOT pull them with a code reader.

First question will be does the red e-brake light work?

If you will search the forum for my user name with ABS you should find a thread showing the process for finding the wire to ground that will have the dash light blink out the error code.
