So the ABS dummy light came is on, any idea why? Stays on while driving, however as it recently snowed I got on the brakes and the ABS is still engaging? Is this just a bad sensor on the hub?
Most likely one of the sensors in your hubs is bad. An ABS light is not something I would ignore and unfortunately your average run of the mill scanner usually won't read ABS codes. Some of the higher dollar models will. I would definitely get the truck scanned for codes.
The sensors are just one of many possibilities. Simply throwing parts at it on a guess usually results in wasted time and money.
Get the fault code(s) read. That will allow you to focus on what is known to be at issue instead of making wild-a$$ed guesses.
Sometimes the codes can only be 1 step above a WAG .. My light is on as well , No Codes would show up, Stops better than my lifted X so I'm leaving it alone ..
