17*HPOP mod

I am getting ready to lay down a hundred bills on a 17*hpop (used) and then send to Joey at TE to get modded. Is there anything I need to be concerned about when buying this HPOP?

Nope, other than the chances of getting a pump thats completely worn out. I recently did the same thing and I have no complaints.

Is there anyway to tell that? Are they rebuild able? Of course I am taking a guy's word on it but it was supposedly off a wrecked truck with less than 100000miles on it

Rebuildable no. The only way to tell would be to have it pressure tested before he sends it. Or I'm sure if Joey opens it up and its trashed he'd let you know.

It's worth it, and Joey is really quick on the turnaround. I think he swapped the guts and modded mine in one day, the rest was all waiting on the mail.

Found out the pump has about 150K on it but I will probably take my chances and buy anyway and hope for the best. Lot cheaper than a "new" old pump.
