15* and 17* interchangeable

15* and 17* interchangeable
I tried searching for the answer, but could find what I was looking for.

yes they interchange. I wouldn't want to put a 15* on a truck that had a 17* it's a step backwards, but It will work in a pinch.

Great! Thank you, I am going to put a 17 into my brothers early 99 (his looks to be a 15).

Got a modded 17* on my E99. It's a definite improvement on the early birds.

Replaced my 15* with a T-500 on my e99. Definately worth doing.

Well got it done, he said he he can already feel a difference. His isn't modded, just a stock 17, hoping this solves his slow start issue. Now for me to get myself an upgraded HPOP!!! (Why couldn't I have won that jackpot!)

Does anyone have a picture of a 15* and a 17* pump. In other words how could I tell the difference if I was picking one up from let's say CL?
