Arrow Odometer Display Problem

Have 04 Scab fx4, odometer light is out. Anyone have problem, or have fixed it? What does it take to do it. No warr. I have some mech. exp. so I think I might be able to fix this with a little guidance and where I can get part. Any help here would be greatly appreciated.

A friend replaced the bulb in his '05 STX, so if your display has a similar setup, it is possible to replace it. Just tear the gauge cluster out to get to it.

Getting the parts guy to order the correct bulb, now there's the real trick. I think it took them three times to finally get the right bulb ordered. His looked about like a little Christmas tree light.

If you have the owners manual, the bulb size/part number should be listed in there.

5beans THANK YOU SO MUCH for that older link. Mine has been out for about 6 months now and all the dealerships say they have to order a new inst. cluster. I keep telling them they are wrong but they would not listen now all I have to deal with is the parts guy!! THANKS AGAIN!!!!
