My LCD display on the right lower part of my gauges that displays the outside temperature, compass, and odometer backlight has gone out. The info is still there but no backlight. Does anyone know if it has a bulb or do I have to change entire module? Thanks.
There is a known problem with soldering on the dash circuit bd. If you are handy with tools use a magnifying glass to inspect the soldered connections on the circuit bd. Much cheaper than replacing the dash.
No. According to the "paperwork" the technician only replaced the bulb behind the display.
Hmmm... maybe we are getting to the bottom of this. Is there a part # on the paperwork by chance? And, does anyone know if the cluster has to be recalibrated after it is disconnected. I did not think there was room to replace a bulb in the lower right hand corner of the cluster (I have taken the plastic pieces surrounding the cluster off to look at it) without removing it.
