as the title says my odometer and trip odometer have stopped working completely. I have the analog mechanical display and it's been stuck at 203,197 for about three days. Is there a fix for this?
Wow I would have thought it was an easy fix. So I basically have to replace the cluster. Luckily mine started working the day I posted this. Hopefully it stays that way.
WOW mine has done the same thing, It stopped at 386,284 miles.... lol. there is a gear in the instrument cluster that I saw a buddy of mine having to replace, they get old and worn out over time, and will fail. I dont think its too necessary to replace, I mean I dont know if it will cause you to fail an inspection or not.... the guy who does my inspections never says anything about it. 1997 F150 4.6L extended cab.

i have a 1997 F150 ,the odometer and trip stop working. i found a shop that works on Speedometers . i took it out myself and took it to them. They had it fixed in less then an hour and recalibrated it. only $130.00 . Also when you take out the cluster the Alternator will not charge the battery ,so keep that in mind,
