2001 f250 odometer stopped

does anyone know how to fix my problem?? i have a 2001 f250 7.3l diesel and the mechanical odometer just stopped ticking, everything else in the gauge cluster works fine

try pushing the trip reset button, mine has stuck before after I pushed it while driving, causing the odo to quit working. Could also be that the gear has shifted slightly thereby not engaging or a stripped gear.
