Is it possible to take out my power windows and just put in manual ones I really hate power windows and locks and the windows are giving me trouble so how hard would it be to switch it over any help is appreciated thanks in advance -Scot-
You should be able to to that just fine. I would get the mounting hardware from the junkyard. Your truck should have all the holes to mount the manual stuff. Just to be sure you may want to look at one at a junkyard see where it mounts then look at yours.
Do the trucks with manual window and locks have the wires to convert them to power or do you need to add that? I might get power for mine if I don't need to spend to much.
I have the blue int and it is a xlt lariat its an 89 f250 I dont care if the color matches I just want manual its my farm truck so it dont matter let me know where your from and how much you want for it. Thanks alot for all the quick responses -Scot-
What you will need from me is both window regulators (the thing with the crank) and the panels that have the velour on them on your door (my old ones have holes for the crank to stick thru). You can just swap out the soft panels on your existing door panels. Unfortunately mine are gray, but you said you don't care. Let me see how much all that weighs and what shipping would cost - what is your zip?
It doesnt really seem like much work I am just not a big fan of power just more crap to go wrong I think but I also dont want to mess around w/ buying a motor and changing that out and whatever else I find wrong w/ it
So sorry for the delay, I was out of town for a while for work and of course when I come back it is chaos. Since I made you wait, I'll just give the regulators to you if you will pay for shipping. $20 ought to cover it. Do you also want the gray cloth inserts for your door panels that have a hole in them for the crank, or would you rather just cut a hole in yours since they are blue?
