Power Windows
On the driver side of my Bronco when I press the power window control button you can here the window motor running but the window doesn't move. And when it does move its really slow and moves like an inch a minute. Could it be the motor and if its not how do I check it out? What should I look for? Is this hard to fix?

Hello Smoothtalkr29483, if you hear the motor running, your motor should be O.K. The gear inside the motor is probably gone. If you take the door panels off, you should be able too see an indention on the door in front of the window motor. They should be on both sides. If you drill these out with a 3/8" drill bit, you can get to the bolts on the window motor alot easier. Remove the motor, take it apart and there should be a plastic gear thats striped of it's teeth. Pep boys, napa, autozone, discount auto, etc. all carry these gears. There not real cheap about $25.00 to $30.00 apiece. I hope too help, Keep us posted on what you find out, Good luck. Rob
