I noticed my voltage gauge was acting kind of strange so had the batteries checked out and alternator. Both were working fine but one day all of a sudden no windshield wipers, windows won't work and no dome lights. The OD was going off and on which was strange. I checked the fuses and such but didn't come up with anything. I read a few articles pointing to shift selector and the OD wire. All the other gauges work fine. I'm leaning toward the gear shift selector or a bad dash cluster.

 

I'm leaning towards you have transmission error codes stored in the PCM. That will make the OD OFF light flash. I recommend getting the codes read. The auto parts stores that read codes free CANNOT read these codes. You need either a good independent shop or a Ford dealer.

 

It's not throwing any codes have my own code reader.

 

But does your code reader read transmission codes also? I know the scanner I have will not read transmission codes.............
