From your description it sounds like it's blinking a 33 code. If so, that's for the passenger side air bag if the vehicle is so equipped. The passenger side under seat air bag electrical connector contacts are a common problem area. So disconnect the battery & leave a door open, or turn a light on for a bit, to discharge any remaining stored electrical system charge, Before disconnecting the air bag electrical connector to inspect its pins, sockets & wiring for looseness, corrosion or damage. Also try cycling the air bag deactivation switch off & on a few times to clean its electrical contacts.
