Air Bag Indicator Light is Flashing
Dashboard light is flashing. Sometimes it flashes sometimes it doesn't:no real pattern. Any suggestions?
It just started with no accident or jarring. Thanks!!

When you turn the passenger airbag on/off, does the indicator light up? I forget what the code was, but when I posted the flashing code the good people here steered me towards my light bulb being burned out in the passenger airbag switch. If so, don't buy it from the dealer, you can buy a $2 LED at Radio Shack and fix it yourself. Last time I checked, they said you have to buy the whole switch!!! Over $75 for that! Good luck!

My 97 use to do that alot then quit.I never had any problems for over 2 years after..Just get the code its probely just a blown switch or bulb

found my a/c blower runing with the ign switch of on my 97 expedition when i turned the truck on the air bag light started flashing 5-2 and then stays steady, what does this code means
