I've heard great things about Mishimoto. Or you could go OEM

Are there any vendors not here? New to the forums but I didn't see them on the list.

Are you not under the 36/36 warranty still?

Do a search Mishimoto has a rep on here.

Unfortunately not, it has 75k on the odometer. Bought it from a dealership and didn't get the extended warranty because they typically are a waste. Noticed the radiator leak on the way home and of course they couldn't care less when I called.

Trans temp guage

Just saw something new which is probably related but just wanted to make sure. With the leaking primary radiator, would the trans temp guage be a little slower to get to temp. While driving my temp guage gets to the middle(within the ford set parameters) far sooner than the trans temp guage. Do I need to do anything else while I'm in the engine to fix the issue or is replacing the primary radiator the cause?

And since there is no combustion taking place in the trans. it will naturally warm a lot slower!

Oh ok, I just wanted to make sure there wasn't something else I should be checking on. There isn't a leak but if thermostats need to be replaced this will definetely be the time to do it.

Replace the thermostats on the 6.4. They might be hyperextended.

Also the upper hose if it does not have the white end towards the motor. Updated white hose has double 0-rings.

Now back to our regular programming.

It's a 6.7. Unfortunately I traded in 6.4 which I had to replace the thermostats and hoses and now I get to deal with this one the new one.

Good ol Ford.

Welp Ford got me good this time. Been talking with Ford about possibly getting reimbursed for some portion of this radiator issue. They email me and tell me that in order for them to be able to provide any assistance I will be required to take it to a Ford tech as the truck was not purchased from a Ford dealer. So I tell them okay and take it in. Ford does their thing and this is an obvious leak not something that requires a tech diagnosis whatsoever. Anyway, $125 later I call Ford and they tell me Ford decided a while ago that they would not support at all. Of course I say my words which are meaningless to the service rep and they give me the standard sorry but see ya later. Pretty sure this is the last Ford I purchase. Below is a pic of the leak.

So you bought a out of warranty Ford from a non-Ford dealer and now you're PO'd that Ford is not covering your leaky rad? Why did you think they would?

I'm sorry for your troubles but I'm not following the reasoning? Did/do you not have any recourse with the selling dealer?

Not at all, I'm p/o that Ford told me they wouldn't be able to do anything until I had a ford tech look at it. Diagnosis costs $125 at my local dealer. I called after diagnosis and they said they decided they weren't going support a week ago. I received no notification so wasted $125 on something that I didn't need diagnosed. I didn't expect them to fit the bill just was looking for some kind of support on a truck that is 2 years old with a shot radiator.

Unfortunately the dealer couldn't care less.
