Radiator Best way?
Old subject, but looking for people's experience and what they found to be the best way.
My 2011 F250 6.7 has 53,000 and not covered by warranty. Radiator leak. I don't know how bad yet. I have to get under it. Found out when I went in to Ford for free oil change this morning. They want $1,500+ to replace it.
What's the best way you have found to solve this problem?

I had reservations about installing myself, but I have a son that is diesel wise. And from what I've read it seems to be a permanent fix. A really good warranty even with a accident protection. And lastly everyone I've talked to say to go to the Mishimoto. Thanks for the input.

I'll keep my eyes peeled for your message, John. Be sure to include your full name, best daytime phone number, VIN, current mileage, and servicing dealership.

Times have changed...
Dad bought a used '54 Chevy 3100 Truck for the ranch back in 54. I went with him to pick it up at the dealer. On the way home radiator sprung a leak. While letting it cool Dad walked over and found a small limb off a Mesquite tree. Took out knife, sharpened it and put it in the hole...we sold that truck in '77 and as the guy was looking at it he asked Dad is that bundle of sharp sticks in the glove box? Dad said those are for the radiator, it leaks and you just plug it up with one of those sticks till it rots out and get another one. That truck had over 100,000 miles on it.
Problem: Leaking radiator
Time to fix: 5 min
Cost to fix: $0.00
I think those days are gone...

Not sure if the root cause is the body mounts, will definitely take a good look while I have everything out (and am able to see anything). During the warranty process (which was slow and needed constant nagging to get a response, oh yeah and cost a $100 for shipping the replacement, not including down time and labor for installing), there was a quiet mention of an updated Version 2 to resolve some of the issues they have found, i.e. reinforcements to help deal with the flex. No part number change or other info though.
