Positive battery terminal corrosion

My new to my 2013 f150 needs the terminal replaced due to corrosion. Does anyone have the p/n for just the terminal not the whole cable.

Can't help with the p/n but strongly recommend the felt washers available from any auto parts house. Place them under the terminals, tighten the terminal and then spray it liberally with Permatex High-tack gasket cement. My 2011 is corrosion free.

You'll have to get a professional crimp I think. Those part store replacement terminals are junk. OK to get home in emergency but not a good permanent repair. A welding supply company can make a new cable at a reasonable price.

The corrosion is because of battery outgassing. The felt washers work, but it's better to determine why the battery is outgassing so heavily. Usually because of corrosion and high resistance, discharged or mismatched cells or bank.

You can replace both the positive and negative terminals. Ask for the terminals for a Ford 2011 Edge, they are identical, about $20 a piece. I just replaced mine. Only available from Ford, Amazon, and Ebay. I had to replace my battery too, the battery had split at the terminals allowing the acid to eat the terminals on the cable. Easy fix, must be able to crimp the positive terminal onto the cable. Easy with vise grips or a hammer and punch.

I would recommend using something called No-OX-ID A compound on the terminals.
It is absolutely the best thing for battery terminals and has been used in the Telecom industry
for more years than I can count. Available on e-bay for a paltry sum. An 8 oz tube will last
you for many years and is great for all DC power connections / terminals.
Link if it will let me post it:

NO-OX-ID "A-special" is for electrical use. Great for rustproofing and coating fasteners too. A can or tube is a lifetime supply.

Had no problem with aftermarket terminal on my '01.
Cut the bad end off, crimp, solder, heat shrink then coat with protector of some type = no more problem.
