Okay problems solved and I feel like a total Dumb **s. Before I bought the truck, the previous owner added a new fuel switch for the cab. When he did this he accidentally put the hoses on backwards so when switched to AUX I was really running main and vice versa. But I didnt know about this so when I thought I was running on a full main tank, I was actually running a completely empty auxiliary tank. Thank God I found this out before dropping it off at the shop. Thanks for everyone trying to help.

So maybe it just needs a carb/ jet adjustment
Ok so you found your goof up fuel line hoses.

But what about this gas squirting out onto the fire wall???
What Was is all about??

2X Orich. Mega imortante'. Sounds like a Holley carb the PO rebuilt. In doing so he installed the accelerator pump nozzle body upside down

If this is a Holley look at the accelerator pump nozzle body. Open the choke flap. The accel body is in the middle of the carb's throat inbetween the front to barrels. front side of throat. Held down by a phillips screw. Out the side of this body pointing at the 2 barrels are the nozzles. Are they pointing a bit UP or a bit DOWN?

If for some reason your truck was not to take the gas one morning and the engine spites or cough back up through the carb that comes with a back fire.

You may end up watching your nicely rebuilt truck go up in smoke & flames.

I guess You don't seen to understand the danger of your carb spraying upwards.. Oh well, I guess it's were just -ing in your ear.

I have a 72 f100 stepside and just had it worked on. My gas pedal was sticking though. Thought it was a linkage problem, was just a bad spring. Yah, cheap fix. Sounds like a linkage problem to me.
