That sounds like one heck of a powerful radio! can you turn the power down on the CB? Assuming you have a turned up Galaxy or Cobra. So you ran the power directly to the +side of the battery with an inline fuse. Whats the gauge of the red + wire going to the batt? Also make sure the black ground wire is in a good location. For my CB I ran the Neg wire to the metal dash frame on the right side behind the fuse panel under the steering wheel.

Do you have a DP Tuner?

If you do you need a ferret on the cable where it plugs into the PCM

This is a common issue. There are a couple causes. A chip (often DP Tuner) or a shared ground. Try grounding it directly to the battery and see if that fixes it.

I have tuned up Galaxy 88 ( it will dead key 65 watts on the high side ) and I have wired directly in the fuse box with ground hooked under the dash and never had such a problem .

I have an hr 2950 that has been mod'ed to get cb frequency's. i cant remember what they are its been so long. i think it's from 26 to 34.
anyway, it dead keys at 5 watt's and swings to 65 watt's. when the additional goodies are hooked up it will swing from 5 watt's to 2200 watt's. it will light up a florescent light bulb by it's self from across the street in your hand. i have been afraid to install it in my truck for fear that my truck may melt down or never run again..

my galaxy DX88 will shut the mack off when pushing full 200 watts, and make it stumble at 100 watts. so i did not even try putting it in my ford pickup..

I had a similar problem with my 99. when ever I turned on the headlights it would cause the truck to stumble, came to find out that my HID lights when turned on caused an interruption with the signal from my DP tuner and would kill the truck. Put a ferrite bead on the wiring harness for the tuner and no more problem. Might wanna try a ferrite bead. they are cheap and easy fix in some cases.

google "ferrite bead" they usually come in 2 pieces that snap together. try putting one on the wiring harness for your CPU. the ferrite bead will in my understanding absorb the interferring frequency or smooths it out. one way or the other it worked for me. they do come in different sizes. the one I used was a 7mm

I understood that RF could disrupt the CPS. So it can also affect the ICP as well?

The CPS is news to me, but with an aftermarket ICP, yeah.
