Ain't gonna happen. The EEF-1000 is going to give you the most performance you'll ever get out of a set of stock injectors. NOTHING tuning-wise will give you more fuel economy, either. The "Level 3" calibration is the basis for one of the most popular programs out there though.

I have been looking closely at the DP F5 and after talking to Jody they recommended these tunes: stock, drive-thru, 80hp tow, 60hp daily, 80hp daily, 120hp race, & 140hp aggressive.
How much different are the PHP Hydra library tunes compared to the DP tunes on a relatively stock truck?
I'd tell you but I'd get in trouble (or banned since that's usually the tool of choice for naysayers). I... I...... just can't bring myself to say.....

Are the library tunes from PHP pay per use or a starting point at which you experiment and build from?
Not pay-per use. They are there and available with any Hydra purchase - no extra costs.

I'll say it -

It was Bill (PHP) that got Jody & Tony Started in tuning many years ago.

As Cody said with stock injectors - your gonna get very similar tunes no matter which tuner you choose, so all that is left is the cost and with some tuners all you are doing is throwing more money into the fire .

The red works fine for me, you can easily dim the display by holding down the button. I have mine mounted behind the directional lever, I don't see it until I click the directional on.......but I did consider the A-Pillar gauge location, I like that as well.
