Reprogramming sat radio module

Has anyone reprogrammed their sat module to fix the sat fault issue on the 08-10 superdutys without going to the dealer

Module calibrations are done via the Motorcraft IDS software calibration files. It is not something you would do with FORScan at this time. The calibration files are not the same as your As-Built data files. The calibration files reprogram the firmware of the chips inside the module such as what a tuner does when you delete a truck's emission systems.

I was trying to save a trip to the dealer. I found a guy who has ids that works for ford that’s going to do it for me.

The latest version of IDS calibration file is R114.
