window rubber

I would like to replace the rubber moulding that runs along the bottom of the window opening area on the doors on both my trucks. Where do you guys recommend getting the mouldings from ? I bought all the rubber trim for my Torino from a place in Prescott, I will email them and see what they have for Ford F series trucks.

Jeffs of National Parts Depot (NPD) , Don't use LMC they're horrible to deal with.
Just make sure whatever you buy you get it shipped U.S. Postal Service not UPS.

Plus the LMC product sucks, I'll never buy window rubbers from them again.

Did you try Special Interest Cars in Oakville?

Image - TinyPic - Free Image Hosting, Photo Sharing & Video Hosting

are we talking 21456 and 21452 in the picture?

For the '95 F-150 they are still available from Ford! $250 + Tax for all 4 pieces.

For the '83 F-250 they are still available from Ford! $340 + Tax for all 4 pieces.

Because I am the man I called Special Interest, for the '95 F-150 they are $150 + Tax for all 4 pieces, for the '83 F-250 they are $300 + Tax for all 4 pieces. But for the bad news they won't have them untill mid june. Ford can have them in a couple days

Where are you located?

edit central lol. I think I edited that like 6 times lmao

Thanks lightning ! You are indeed the man, at least on this thread I wonder if SIC's are original Ford parts ? I know most of their stuff usually is. I was under the impression they had gone out of business. I bought stuff from them for my Torino when it was under restoration. I will call them Monday morning. I can't tell from the pic what the numbers are but I am sure they will figure it out for me. I am in no specific hurry, I would like them for the 83 before the Nationals in August and for the 95 ,before next winter. I am in Collingwood by the way. Thanks again. Regards, Mike

If you give me or PM me your email I can send you a better picture.

I don't know if Special Interest is using original parts or not. I never thought to ask. They have been in business for the last 3 years at least cause that's how long I have been sending people to them when we don't have or can't get a part for their "classic" vehicles. I like to keep business in Canada as much as possible.

Just saw: Did you end up phoning them?

Sorry for the delay in replying, I have had a terrible week. I haven't had time to call SIC ,least of my problems right now. An ex girlfriends ,ex husband put sugar in the gas tank of my Miata, it had a brand new rebuilt engine in it with only 250 km, my insurance is writing it off. Now my F 150 quit after sputtering and I suspect there is sugar in it too. I am waiting for my mechanic to look at it. It may be an insurance claim also. I am scared he may have hit the F 250 but I haven't had it that long yet. I put a locking gas cap on it.

That is crazy I'm sorry to hear that. I think I'm going to invest in a locking gas cap today cause people have been syphoning gas around town.....

Getting my insurance cheque today , I am tempted to buy a newer truck and use the money as a down payment but..., I have been paying 29.9% interest on a 7k debt for my furnace for 18 months now so I need to get that 250 per month payment off my back. I am going to call SIC now and order the 83 rubber, I may have to sell the 95 or sign it over if it turns out to have sugar in it too. Thanks to the American fellow who posted on this also. I don't want to gamble on shipping from Washington with the current postal strike on so will deal with the local place and just pay the extra $.
After learning of the shipping cost even from Oakville to Collingwood, I am going to look into the local dealer getting them, they are 2 km from my house and no extra cost.

Lucky You MS Falcon.... where does that nic come from ?
I now have the complete set of NOS factory rubber . My dealer in Collingwood had to bring in pieces from all over North America and a few of the pieces were the last available so now show obsolete on the Ford parts inventory system. It was not cheap ,over 600$ in total, plus whatever my resto shop is going to charge to install it all. But, it keeps my 22,000 kilometer truck all original with actual factory parts.
