it will be on the back of the coin holder that is located next to the upfitter switches.
to get to it, pry out the Aux-in jack plate (or blank plate on the lower passenger side of the center dash plate if you don't have the aux jack), then reach behind the upfitter switches and push them out. At that point you can pull the coin holder out and unclip the brake controller connection from it.

TXReb - the Aux-in jack - How do you pry out this plate?? Pry from top? Or the same with the Coin holder - I am supposed to get my upfitters today (UPS - Out for Delivery) - I noticed the coin holder has 2 little slots on the top edge like maybe you press down & out - But I don't wanna break anything... Also it might be nice to take out the audio out jack during install... Mine is 2011 But it sound the same as you are describing..

If I'm not mistaken, there are 3 different fillers...
there is a single piece for no-TBC/no-upfitter
there is a left side for no-TBC/upfitter
and there is a right side for TBC/no-upfitter
The way I described removal is how it must be done. When I installed my TBC, I was unaware of how things fit together, and nearly broke the bezel on my upfitter switches. They sit in there just like a pair of display cabinet doors, the TBC side has a pair of slots and sits behind the upfitter side. The upfitter side has a pair of pegs that fit into those slots for alignment. Upfitters come out first, then the TBC side comes out.
