Brake controller wiring harness
I have a 2015 F250 with factory trailer towing package but not a factory brake controller. I Have an aftermarket one with a wiring harness that I got separately and it says that the connector is to the right of the steering column but the connector isnt the same as the wiring harness. Does anyone know where to plug it in? I couldnt find any place to plug it in.

As stated above, the wiring is below the radio in the center of the dash. It is the same one that the factory controller would have been plugged into.There is a wiring harness available from Ford (mine was in the glove box unopened) that plugs into the factory wiring under the radio that you wire to your aftermarket brake controller. I routed the wires to get the plug near the bottom of the dash on the driver's side of the tranny tunnel so that I can remove the plug easily when I sell the truck without removing the radio.
