Hi. Good morning/evening. I have a Ford Expedition 2003 and something wrong happened, I cannot refill the fuel tank because we need to remove air from it.
The technician repaired it by opening the fuel tank and removing the air from the gas pump, or something like that, and it's been fixed, but a different problem happened afterward, the advtrac stopped working and when I try to start up the car, the advtrac Indicator starts to blink and after one minute it stops blinking and remains constant and gives me a message saying, "Advtrac off" "Check Advtrac", but the ABS seems to work just fine. Also, when the tech did a computer test on the car, it brought up the error message, "Description - C1805, Mismatched PCM and/or ABS/TCS Module".
Can you please advise me on what I can do about that? Something to tell the technician and ask him to do it because I think he did something wrong when he fix the gas pump!
I don't think anyone understands what happened with the fuel pump...
Concerning the ABS system, C 1805 normally means take the truck to the Dealer and have the ABS module reprogrammed and see if that works... If not, the ABS module is probably bad. ......... unless something was unplugged, the gas tank has nothing to do with the ABS............ buy check wiring in that area to the rear wheels.
Thank you very much Steve for your response to my question.
What I mean with what happend with the fuel pump has happend before the abs problem because before that I couldn't fill the tank and the problem was air in the fuel tank, and after being repaired the abs problem appeared, and I mentioned here to explain what happened before the abs problem, thats all.
But the real problem now no one can understand what happened with the advtrac because the abs is seems to look good. The abs indicator is off and nothing is unplugged and all technicians there asked me to bring the abs combination number to reprogramme it , and there is no where to find it because my ford wasn't bought from Saudi Arabia. I bought it directly from US. And so the dealers here in Saudi Arabia refuse to help me with this condition.
All I need is the correct way to reprogramme it myself without the help, or from where can I get the ABS's real number to do that?
Air in the tank would normally mean the small vent hose that connects to the fill line is plugged and will not vent out air. I assume they removed the hose and cleaned out the "pluggage"....... I still don't see how that would effect the ABS system... maybe just a coincidence. YOU can not reset or program the ABS. It must be the dealer. I would recommend phone calls to FORD as mentioned above.
You expected to find a solution to an Expedition by posting in an F-150 forum? Try posting in the correct forum and you just might start getting answers. Also try being patient, those here volunteer their time trying to help others, it's not a job and no one gets paid for their time.

The problem is it is a US built vehicle being sent overseas. The SAUDI FORD SYSTEM most likely has no ready access to US calibration repair info (or are misinformed and/or don't give a shiat).
I worked at a LM Dealer and they also sold JAGUAR. Their parts catalog was a b!tch as the company was worldwide and the cataloging contained global information.
