All 2006 F250 - Front Window Question

Hey guys,

I wanted to know on your front window is there a 1 1/2inch gap between the rubber seal on top center of the black plastic guard under the wipers.

Do I need to close the space a littelr more in the center and leave some space on the two corners. If anyone has pics it would be great.

I took it apart a few days ago and I just noticed it. I moved seal when I had to clean all the grime out of it. I put it back together but not sure if I put it in the correct way.

Again just want to know if that space is correct.

Thanks

I'll try and get you some photos a bit later. It's raining right now and
I don't want to melt if I get wet.

Thanks, I think I made a small mistake when I cleaned this section.
I will also try to take some pics once the rain stop.

Thanks for taking does pictures for me in the rain. It looks like I need to adjust some of the rubber seal. My space looks a little larger.

Also did you notice if you had space on the two ends of the seal (end of corner of black plastice and window). My corner is sealed and I think i need space there for water to go down, but not sure. This is why my center has a larger space.

Can you check and see if you truck is the same way. You can do this when the rain stop. I can wait.

Thanks,

Thanks a lot. This works and I notice there is a space at the corners where water could go down and drain from the side panel.

Sorry I could download my pictures, but now I know what to do.

Again thanks for all your help.

The easy way to post pictures is to open an account in photobucket (which is free). You upload the pics to photobucket. When you look at the pics in photobucket, there will be a box on the side titled "Image Links" that has the "code" for each picture - it looks like this:

Click the link and it will copy it to your clipboard. Change windows to FTE and paste it into a reply, just as I did.
