Countermaker my receipt reads 'SUP 28' which I'm gathering is 28%? The installer told me it was the darkest he could go and still be legal.

It ain't dark enough and the chucklehead didn't tint the strip across the front windshield because he said the ceramic painted dots where it reads 'Super Duty' will bubble up and show ... I'm guessing he just didn't want to mess with it because I've seen way too many new Super Duties with the windshield strip tinted. Now I'm going to have to go elsewhere to get the strip tinted because I'm really missing my tinted front windshield strip!

I paid 73 bucks for just the two front windows.

Edit:
Sheesh.....looks like a new set of meatier sneakers is needed also, I never noticed just how small these tires looked on this truck.

The truck was tinted allready when i bought the truck used. But the owner before me kept records and the reciept reads 220 dollars for 3M UV Rated Film. The guy i bought the truck off of said its the best tint at blocking UV rays. Need the extra help becuase of the KR Leather. 15% On the 4 door windows and 5% on the rear slider. I think 15% is the darkest i would go on the front side windows. I find myself having to roll down the windows while backing into parking spots in dark parking lots. Also my tint is way illegal in VA the front windows on a Pickup cant be passed 40%.

Wow.......... the 5%'s are the "limo black" tints. That is DARK.......... Here in NY they are definitely not legal for the fronts. The 20%'s are questionable, but I have them on all 5 of my vehicles and have not come across a single problem yet.

here's a tip...if you ever get pulled over, don't argue with the cop if you don't want but go ahead and fight the ticket, unless they have the device to read exactly what percent tint you have you'll win. They can't fine you just because they KNOW it's too dark. VERY few dept's have the device, major cities probably do but not small municipalities...which are the only ones that usually harass people anyhow.
