Radiator Replacement
I have 99 expy 4x4 5.4 eng. w/110k miles that is leaking coolant from the lower left corner of the radiator. I also see a small leak coming from the top left corner through the cooling shrowd. I am replacing the radiator. I was thinking of replacing the hoses as well. Is this a small job that can be tackled at home?

Yes, just allow yourself about 3 hours to do it. Probably the biggest issue you'll have is disconnecting the lower radiator hose. There's a metal tab that has to be bent back, then the hose gets twisted 45 degrees, then you pull it off. Pulling it off is easier said than done. I have found that removing the wheel well skirt from inside the driver's wheel helps a lot.

The job itself is not that bad, it just takes some time. Like "alloro" said, if you take of the inner wheel well skirt will save you tons of time and headaches. Also when your doing the job replace any clamps that aren’t up to par.
