Post New LTBs?

Anyone caught any word about the new LTB sizes?

Like usual Interco postponded the release date, but not on the 16/40-16LT or 35X12.50-17LT.

I'd be really interested in seeing some tread depth numbers and sale prices....

I really like the idea of a 40" LTB, and if they're cheap like the other LTBs (other than the 47), then I could see something like that in my future.

Oh yes...they will be mine!

Ive been talking about them for a couple months now. Id suspect they will sell for ~$250 a tire hopefully less

I've been watching them for a couple months now, and they just keep delaying the release date.

I hope they're relativly cheap.... bought some 34s for $440, so 40s for $800 or under would be to much to hope for...

i sure hope that they hurry up though, the ltbs seem like a decent tire and are usually pretty cheap, ive been thinking about puttin a set of 34x10.5x17 on the 97, either that or 305/70/17 of a different tire, not sure i like the tires only be 10.5 in wide on the ltbs, idk yet but interco needs to hurry up on the other sizes!

The soft bias ply tires don't last long, but they pull great.

I was thinking the 34x10.50-17s would be a little skinny, but they work and look great.

a buddy had the same size/style on his 90-something toyota and he got about 12-13K miles before they litterally started throwing lugs off.

Pulled great though.

yeah im sure that they would pull great, idk im kinda leaning towards the maxxis bighorns in 305/70/17 thats close to a 34/12.5/17 which i think would work better, i like wider tires, but for around $145 pertire thats hard to beat the ltbs, im not too worried about mileage, i drive it on the street alot but i do wheel and im not buying the tires to get good mileage

If I went to 42s Id have to swap in the 3.00 gears. Im playing it safe with 38s and 4.56s

On a serious note...
42" SXs will bring the ****in awsomeness but I bet they will be expensive. Id expect $350+ per tire. Hopefully the 40" LTBs will follow most of the LTB line and be cheaper than similar size swampers. 39.5x16x16 swampers are $259 I think so anything less than that will be great.

Haven't heard of anything final on them.
According to pirate, no one's holding their breath for them. There are a bunch of people that want them, but they keep getting delayed on production too. They were suposed to come out last year (IIRC), but keep getting knocked back a couple months....

So following that, after the 42" sxs come out, then about 4-5 months later the LTBs will come out.

this thread is 4 months old, but yes I love my 33'' ltbs don't know how many miles are on them, they are less than half tread, still throw brick sized rocks and mud chunks, they are cut up as heck and have plugs sticking out all over, they just won't die, like this thread lol. Interco still hasn't released the 35'' ltb, very unfortunate because I happen to be in need of a set.
