Stall after mild power braking!!???
I have 39k on my 07 and recently had towed 12500lbs 1300miles and truck ran good no problems pulling or anything. The other day two of my buddies were talking crap so when they walked around the back of my truck to the passenger side I power braked it to black smoke them, well when I let off the peadel the truck stalled out. I've never had this happen before and I have drag raced the truck several times and never had it stall during a burn out. Yes I do have an sct and I'm running Matt's agrressive street tune at the time, although at the track I run the ultra comp tune and while on the trip pulling the load I ran the agressive tow w/jake brake. My question is, is it related to the trip or do I need to schedule an appointment with my service tech to check for an underlying issue?

forgot bout this, while under load pulling up some hills I heard the turbo get a real high pitch squeal, kinda like one of those whistles that have the metal impeller in them or like when you put a blade of grass between your thumbs and try to whistle with it, when the boost was around 30 psi I let off the throtle and never heard it again unless it was really loading at high boost, and didn't notice any black smoke during this.

Were your wheels spinning at all? Its possible that the torque converter locked up. If not, the computer probably freaked out a second going from super high load to no load instantly.

If you chop the throttle it will stall out.....kinda done that myself coming out out of the burnout box one night.....in front of a few hundred people...
