I am looking for some advice....
I currently have a 98 3.0L 4X4 extended cab and have around 117k miles on it. Recently I have had to put some work in it and now it needs some more....however, I am not sure I want to continue this trend.
I was looking around tonight and happened to find a leftover 2003 Ranger FX4 Level II for 19k, brand new from the dealer. My question is this...should I go for this or is this a bad move?
Any advice or experience with this (2003) ranger is appreciated...

1998 Ranger 3.0L 4X4 Extended Cab
...$19095 to be exact. I made the decision and picked it up today....goodbye to the old 98 (no tears over losing the PVH's) and hello to the 2003. Love this truck already, can't beleive what a difference there is between the 3.0L and the 4.0L!
You aren't mistaken. The OEM tires sucked, so I corrected Ford's mistake for them. Now my truck is like a tank. It'll go almost anywhere. No lift whatsoever. But I'm going back to factory diameter when these wear out. Maybe a wider tire, but back to factory diameter. These put too much strain on the brakes, and hurt fuel economy too.
