fuel filter question

Hello, been running the ford OEM fuel filters on my 2012 forever. just a question normally the filter runs about 65$ ISH. although I see ads on Ebay, etc for OEM filters @ 25$ and some at 65-69 $ . So I'm wondering if these 25$ OEM filters are counter-fit/knockoffs. And has anyone here been running the so-called OEM 25$ filters which are probably not OEM filters and if you have had any issues with them? My concern would be if there are cheap knock-offs would the paper part of the filter start to disagrate and clog the fuel system?

Don't trust those on EBay selling "OEM" Motorcraft fuel filter sets for cheap like that... unless you know the distributor is for real , they are having a sale AND the filter set is ACTUALLY a Motorcraft product.

Here's what I posted on this subject...

https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/1...l#post20916177 scroll down from there.

when it's time when I need more filters, I'll probably buy from either Rock Auto or dieselfiltersonline.com

I've never ordered Motorcraft fuel filters from Rock Auto, as they seem legit but Have ordered from diesel filters online before..

I checked Rock Auto and they don't have the OEM filter set listed... they did this summer when I last checked...

Diesel filters online has them for $76.95

Village Ford Parts has them for $86.13 so that means the dieselfiltersonline price is good price... with a list price of $132.71.

There's also this
5 pack 5 pack
on Amazon which works out to $62.90... what I like about it is that it has an OEM sticker on the box. They appear to be the real deal.

I also notice when searching for "FD4615 fuel filters," lots of pics come up from EBay ads with jacked up boxes, not the same as an OEM FD-4615/BC3Z-9N184-B box that the real deal comes in...

My mistake, I forget that they changed filters, What 2017?
Having put over 200,000 miles on trucks with the newer style filters, I don't remember changing out the old style

Np, the 17s don't have the frame mounted filters like the 11 to 16s... Yeah you've gone through quite a few of these trucks but you do put on a ton of miles also.
