Racor fuel filter

Quick question. The time has come to change the fuel filter. 15,000 miles happend quick (bought the truck new in October). Anyway, I've been checking out the fuel filter prices and the Racor filter is less than half the Motorcraft. Racor makes the Motorcraft filter, correct? My question: Is the Racor fuel filter legit? Would I be short changing myself by using this less expensive filter. Anyone else use these filters?
