That's about $1 per gallon less than the per gallon Walmart price. The 2.5 gallon jug through Walmart is on sale and equates to the same price as Sam's club, per gallon.

Sam's= $22.33/gallon (67÷3)
Walmart= $23.48
Walmart 2.5g= $22/gallon (55÷2.5)

Auto parts stores are unreal with how expensive their oil is. Sometimes you can land a deal but otherwise your paying 5-12 bucks more sometimes.

They sell 2.5g jugs of T6 in 5W40? I haven't seen those at Wally Word. I think Tractor Supply will have them from time to time. Home Depot is a sneaky solid spot to get T6, usually within a buck or two of Wally World but they will usually actually have. My local blue box of death has been hit or miss.

Maybe because I can't store alot of oil in my mobile lifestyle, when it comes time to do an oil change I just go to Wally and buy T6 and a filter and not worry about price. The diesel only gets changed once every 10 months +/-. So what if it’s a buck or 2 a jug more. When it's needed it’s needed. I did try carrying oil when purchased at a cheaper price then something in the truck pokes a hole in the jug now I lost money and get to clean the mess off of everything it was near.

I gave up the Sams membership 5 years ago. When I was building a customer near a Costco. So I have a costco membership now. Just can't see paying for two memberships. And I really dislike the local Walmart, So I've been buying my Oil at NAPA. They have the Valvoline Premium Blue 5-40 Synthetic on Sale about every other month, Maybe every third month. And back when oil was hard to find. They still had gallon jugs I could buy. So I've been using it for the past 5 years. Nothing against Shell Rotella. Used a lot of it in my 2000, 2003, 2006, 2011 trucks

Not sure how often Wally has the 2.5g, the only place I have actually bought that size was at Tractor Supply (when on sale). Between posting last night and now, the 2.5g at Wal-Mart for $55 is sold out. Home Depot has been a pretty reliable source for the T6, cliser to me, and like you say, usually priced pretty close to Walmart.

15 years or 500k miles Guaranteed* I wonder what the fine print says to back up this statement?

There was a couple other Q&A but it didn't look out of the ordinary if a person is religious with maintenance and records. 15 year and 500,000 miles is pretty stout.
