Hey guys. Well I was in the house and the wife was in the truck. “I didn’t know she had the doors open”. Well I tried to start the truck with the key fob “twice” and it obviously didn’t work. She came in and said she was out there. I handed her the keys and said to start it to cool it off cause we were headed out shortly. Well now the truck will turn over for a brief second and act like it “started” and then immediately stop. Shut off. All on it’s on. Pump turns on. Checked fuel coming in and out of the fuel filter under hood. All is good. I’m at a loss. Any ideas?
I would start by closing all the doors and lock and un lock the doors with the fob a couple times then get in the truck, close the door and try a normal start.

Well the code is because the throttle body was stuck. I didn’t know that at the time. But I guess when the wife came home it was driving fine. And when it sat the throttle body had time to glue itself shut. Well I got it unstuck and tried to clean out as much carbon as I can and suck it out with a vacuum and it starts up like a dream. Cleared the code and no issues at all now. Gonna test drive it later.

cant stand it when people do that.
the issue started immediately. No CEL. No warning. No throttle issues or performance issues. Just all of a sudden boom. No start. Weird.
well hopefully this can help someone. Cause I didn’t find anything on the subject anywhere at all.
mph I had info on the code, like what it was and what not. “A general idea”. But no idea on where to pinpoint on what the actual code meant. Like the code states throttle body airflow or something. Well ok that’s fine and dandy. But no one ran into that issue before apparently. Lol. Or no one had every had that code before. Or if they did then it was because they had egr deletes and modifications and stuff. Mine was completely stock and no one has had that issue. Or at least I couldn’t find it
