Turbo Upgrade 7.3l
Hey y'all. I have a 2002 Ford F-350 and am toying around with the idea of upgrading my turbo to either a gtp38r or a kc38r. Was hoping some of y'all have either have or have had either of those and could help me with comparisons. New to this deal I remember growing up my dad was on here and he would always be able to find helpful tips and I'm hoping to get the same out of this. Thank you in advance

I've had a 38r and liked it. If I had to do it again, I would go with a KC38R. The GTP38R is not rebuildable if you wear it out. The KC turbos are. KC also offers some options that will help it fit your goals better. Give him a call and discuss what you want your truck to do, towing, sled pulling, ect. He can recommend the right combination for you.
